Summary: We love this place and have stayed there three or four times. It's our favorite place to go in Clayton. They walk to the waterfall is beautiful.

Summary: The cabin was immaculate, and very secluded and private. Perfect weekend getaway. Beautiful drive to the cabin, and the sounds of the creek by the cabin was so relaxing. Will definitely be staying here again!

Summary: Our 2nd stay at this cozy cabin on Rainbow Creek. Great hiking, fishing and creek splashing. Far enough away to be tranquil but close enough to be convenient . We will be back!

Summary: Clean, comfortable, secluded cabin near a creek that provided great fishing for two teenage boys. In the cabin the sound of the creek was very calming. The kitchen amenities were good for our week long stay. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions or problems. He made our stay as pleasant as possible.

Summary: Loved the layout of the cabin. Would be exactly what we'd want if we ever bought one. Only thing is improve are the kid's beds upstairs. I'm not sure they were actually mattress. Seemed more like really hard upholstery foam. Kids had a hard time sleeping. Other than that, nice place for a weekend getaway

Summary: We had a girls weekend trip from Florida that included my mom, daughter and best friend. I will definitely say you will get that “ nature” feeling when outdoors, especially at night. It’s so quiet and all you can hear is the water flowing from the creek and crickets . All concerns were addressed immediately with the owner. On our last day we were met by a friendly black dog. He hung out with us most of the night by the fire pit as if he was our guardian angel. The neighbors were very friendly as we tried to head down to Rainbow Creek waterfall. It was difficult for us to get to the waterfall and I had to advise my 72 yo mom and friend to return to the cabin before we had reach the creek that’s required to crossover to get back on the trail to finish heading to it. The trail wasn’t well maintained and it was difficult trying to find a path to get down to the base of the waterfall. I later spoke to Marwun about the trail conditions and he explained that state park officials are responsible for its upkeep. Overall our stay was good. Just a FYI, I definitely advise not to travel in an electric vehicle like a Tesla you will have a difficult time locating a supercharger station. There are EV stations around but they either don’t have the proper adapters or they are super slow ( 3 kilowatts per hr-Igles grocery store-free/ slow) the nearest supercharger was in Sc. We were supposed to go to Prayer Mountain in Nc but a full charge wasn’t guaranteed we could make it
